I haven't been this excited in years for a cd player and the JA-310r checks all the boxes. Great sound, retro turntable design, and it comes with all the goodies. It includes USB-C cable, optical cable, 3.5mm audio cable, and is bluetooth capable as well as usb media friendly. The remote is good quality and AAA batteries are included. It simply sounds amazing with headphones, and I am sure it will sound even better connected to high end components. This is perfect for any beginner or audiophile who wants to enjoy physical media. I really did not expect a cd player to sound this good in 2026, I love this thing.
If you are looking for something easy to hook up, this is it, plug the USB to any power source, I used my computer, then the audio cable jack (provided) plugs into a speaker, turn on the CD player and you have music. It's really a very nice looking unit and playback is going to be as nice as the speaker you hook up, there are other things it does like bluetooth, USB and MP3 stuff, I will discover that as I go, right now I am playing CD's.
I picked this up because I missed playing actual CDs instead of just streaming everything. There are plenty of options for those plastic CD players, but I wanted one that had aesthetic appeal and it looks great next to my record player. For a lot of us millennials, we've still got those big CD binders packed with band albums and a ton of custom mixes. Putting one on feels like jumping straight back to 2002. The player looks great, runs quietly, doesn't scratch the discs, and the remote is handy so I don't have to get up every time. It's also a big advantage that I can hook it up to any speaker via Bluetooth or directly connect it to my soundbar with the AUX cord. I just received it, but my wife and I both love it so far.
